Clam and Fish Stew from Cito’s Maine Kitchen

Here's what you need...

1 lb fish fillet cut 2 inches (Any fish will do)
1 lb clams
2 tbsp. chopped garlic
I large chopped onion
1 tbsp. shredded fresh ginger
2 large chopped tomatoes
4 med cut up carrots
4 med cut up potatoes
1 doz. fresh Asparagus or 1 package frozen mixed vegetables
2 c water
3 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
4 cubes chicken bullion

Here's how...

1. Sauté garlic, onions, ginger, potatoes, carrots.
2. Pour water and add the chicken bullion, simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Put fish fillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Put clams and asparagus or you can add veggies and simmer for another 5 minutes.
5. Turn off stove and leave it for 10 minutes before serving.
6. Top it on steamed rice or whatever way of serving you would like.
