what you need...
1/2 kg pork tongue ((sliced into 1/2 inch thick)
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 pc onion (coarsely chopped)
4 cups water
2 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in 1/4 cup water)
1 tbsp margarine
1/2 cup milk
what to do...
1. Marinate pork tongue with soy sauce for 30 minutes.
2. Boil marinated pork tongue together with , onion and water.
3. Simmer until meat is tender.
4. Add cornstarch mixture, margarine and milk.
5. Simmer for 1 minute.
* you may add a tbsp of calamansi juice in the marinade to give another variation on the flavor of lengua.
