what you need...

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups condense milk
1/3 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs 2/3 cup melted butter
1/4 cup chocolate syrup

what to do...

1. Pre-heat oven to 250 F.
2. Line a loaf pan with wax paper or foil.
3. In a bowl, sift all dry ingredients.
4. Blend in condensed milk, eggs, melted butter and evaporated milk.
5. Pour into prepared pan and set aside about 1/4 cup of the mixture.
6. Blend chocolate syrup in the remaining mixture and blend well.
7. Pour over the pan and swirl chocolate mixture into the batter using a knife.
8. Bake for 45 minutes or until top is firm to the touch and when toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of the cake.
9. Cool a little before serving.

*makes 10 servings.
